Alice Martin is an international private client lawyer advising globally mobile individuals, families, family offices and trustees on tax and succession, with a focus on the UK, US and Switzerland. Her unusual path, from theatre to an auction house to law, gives her particular insight into creative lives and valuable collections; her clients include performers, writers and collectors. She also advises on mental capacity, guiding families and trustees with clarity and sensitivity.
Carolyn Steppler provides ultra-high-net-worth clients and family offices with holistic tax advice on estate and succession planning, private wealth structures (trusts, foundations, insurance wrappers, family investment companies) and UK arrival/departure planning. Previously Head of Wealth Planning UK at Credit Suisse and a partner at EY, she is co-author of Tolley's Statutory Residence Test. She holds an Master of Arts in Classics and a D Phil in Ancient Greek Political History from Oxford.
