Assets Register" in the UK.
This organisation works in two directions: firstly it maintains
details of unclaimed dividends, insurance policies, bank accounts
etc., the information being donated by big banks, insurance companies
etc., and secondly it accepts requests from families, executors
etc. for help and searches its data base for traces of lost financial
assets. It is expanding rapidly, and today has approximately ca
5 million records.
Obviously Swiss banks and insurance companies cannot put information
on the register, but it might be useful for our members to have
the other side of the service available to them. |
