Mathias Hermann is a founding member of the
Basel branch in Switzerland. Since establishment of the branch he belongs
as Treasurer to the branch Committee.
Having graduated as a Swiss Lawyer, Mathias Hermann practised in the
legal department of one of the leading global Swiss banks in Zurich.
After five years of legal experience in banking he joined a well established
private bank in Zurich. In his office as legal counsellor he supported
to establish and expand the Trust business as additional service for
the banks international clients.
Since Mathias Hermann has moved to Basel, he worked as Senior Trust
Officer and Member of Senior Management for the international Trust
business of well-known Swiss banks in Basel. Recently Mathias Hermann
has been appointed as Head Legal & Compliance of a traditional independent
private bank.
He is the Treasurer of STEP Basel Branch.
