Legal & Compliance Officer (befristet)

We are an innovative financial services boutique with a multidisciplinary senior specialists team providing tailor made services and solutions to UHNWI clients. To support our Legal & Compliance Head, we are looking for an experienced and highly dynamic

 

Legal & Compliance Officer (80-100%) – Limited duration: 6 months

 

Main responsibilities

  • Perform Know Your Customer (“KYC”) and Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) reviews and analysis
  • Perform due diligence checks
  • Provide compliance advice and handle enquiries regarding any compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g. CRS, FATCA, FINIG, FIDLEG, LEI)
  • Maintain legal and compliance records and handle the associated administrative tasks
  • Draft and review contracts
  • Prepare regulatory AML audits
  • Assist in any legal maters the group or its clients might require
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in various jurisdictions. Analysis and recommendations on whether and how to implement changes.

 

Ideal candidate

  • Law degree with at least 3 yeas PQE preferably in finance, consulting, asset management or in a multi-family office
  • Prior experience in handling AML matters
  • Ability to manage and negotiate template contracts
  • Ability to recognize and weigh business and legal risks
  • Excellent command of English and German (written and oral); any additional language would be an asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks based upon deadlines and level of importance
  • Very precise, rigorous and high level of attention to detail
