Philippe is well known in the aviation industry for well over a decade and has advised numerous domestic and foreign aircraft financiers as well as airlines and business jet owners and operators in many multinational aircraft transactions with relevance to all major jurisdictions.
Philippe Wenker graduated from the University of Zurich in 1996 and was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2000. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) of the New York University School of Law and is member of various relevant aviation industry organisations.

Rolf is a partner and the head of Blum&Grob's Tax practice. He advised aircraft transactions relating to value added tax and custom duties in Switzerland and the European Union, in particular sales and purchases, operating and finance leases, imports and exports, as well as structuring of aircraft holdings. He represented clients in all tax matters before the competent tax courts in Switzerland.
Rolf Schilling graduated from the University of Zurich in 1990 and was admitted to the Lucerne Bar in 1993. He holds a diploma as Swiss Tax Expert (1998) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) of the University of Miami 2013.

Traveling on a business or private jet is very exciting. However, aviation is a highly technical and regulated industry. It involves high value equipment which crosses boarders and, with that, regularly involves multiple jurisdictions.
The aim of the presentation is to give an overview of the various legal and tax aspects to be taken into consideration when dealing with such aircraft.
